"The Weight of One's Self" is set along the Saone River, next to the pedestrian bridge and in front of the Palace of Justice. Although at first it appears to be a man heroically saving another, the man is actually carrying himself. The artists, a Scandinavian duo, say "It's the story of someone trying to save himself. The man is carrying his double, and in so doing becoming his own savior but also his own millstone."
